Supported Employment

UCP of the North Bay, a leader in employment for people with disabilities, offers a variety of supported employment services in Sonoma, Napa, and Solano Counties. Services are designed to help people with disabilities gain the skills to work independently or semi-independently.

Group Supported Employment

  • Provides onsite job coaching to groups of employees with disabilities working at market rate wages in three-person crews at local businesses
  • Hours of employment are Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., with shifts of four to six hours
  • Employees with disabilities who receive this service have developed the ability to focus on work skills, but need additional support to build on-the-job independence

Individual Supported Employment

  • Provides job coaching to people with disabilities working at market rate wages as direct hires at businesses and organizations
  • Hours of employment are up to the employer and may involve evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Individual coaching provided to employees with disabilities to learn new tasks, maintain productivity, and improve attention to detail
